What is the Elevated Hertz Status Offer?

Marriott Bonvoy® and Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® have teamed up to offer Marriott Bonvoy's most loyal members complimentary elite status with Hertz. Membership in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is required.

Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite members receive:

  • Complimentary Hertz Gold Plus Rewards President's Circle® status (registration required)

Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite members receive:

  • Complimentary Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Five Star® status (registration required)

Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite members receive:

  • Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Five Star® status after seven rentals (registration required)

Qualifications

Do I need to have Marriott Bonvoy® Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status to qualify?

Yes, you need to have Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status to qualify.

Do I need to be a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® member to receive Five Star or President's Circle status?

Yes. If you are not already enrolled in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, you will need to enroll to become a member. Once enrolled, you will receive your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards number allowing you to complete registration for your elevated status.

If I renew my current Marriott Bonvoy® Elite status, do I have to register again for the Elevated Hertz Status Offer?

No, if you renew at the same level, you do not need to register again for the Elevated Hertz Status Offer. If your Marriott Bonvoy status changes, your Hertz status will reflect the appropriate status approximately 30 days after your Marriott Bonvoy status change.

If I don't qualify for Marriott Bonvoy® Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite status or Ambassador Elite status, do I lose my elevated Hertz status?

You must qualify for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status each year to qualify for Five Star after seven rentals per year, or keep Five Star or President's Circle status.


Registration

Why is my name not being accepted on the registration site?

Please make sure your name is entered the same way it appears on your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account. This is to validate your identity.

My Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® member number is not eight digits. What do I do?

If your member number is fewer than eight digits, please add leading zeroes to your current number so it has eight digits.

Do I need to add leading zeroes to my Marriott Bonvoy® member number?

Marriott Bonvoy member numbers must be nine digits. Leading zeros are required for Marriott Bonvoy member numbers less than nine digits.
