What are the benefits of President's Circle status?

The benefits of President's Circle status include:

  • Confirmed vehicle availability of Economy through Full-Size 4-Door vehicles in the U.S. and Canada, with a minimum 48-hour advance reservation
  • Confirmed one-car-class upgrade, available at all participating locations in the U.S., Canada and Europe (maximum upgrade to a Full-Size vehicle, with a minimum reservation of a Compact vehicle)
  • Hertz Fast Lane powered by CLEAR — a free service that gets you through the exit gate in 30 seconds or less
  • Vehicle selection from the President's Circle Hertz Ultimate Choice® lot
  • Expedited rental service

How can I earn Marriott Bonvoy points with Hertz?

Simply add your Marriott Bonvoy number to your car rental reservation. You can earn points on car rentals picked up at any airport or off-airport location.

Can I earn Marriott Bonvoy points and Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points for the same rental?

No, members can only earn either Marriott Bonvoy points or Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points for each rental. You can specify your preference at the time of rental or in your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account Profile.


Qualifications

Do I need to have Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status to qualify?

Yes, you need to have Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status to qualify.

Do I need to be a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards member to receive Five Star or President's Circle status?

Yes. If you are not already enrolled in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, you will need to enroll to become a member. Once enrolled, you will receive your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards number allowing you to complete registration for your elevated status.

If I renew my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status, do I have to register again for the Elevated Hertz Status Offer?

No, if you renew at the same level, you do not need to register again for the Elevated Hertz Status Offer. However, if you are currently a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member and earn Ambassador Elite status, you will be eligible for President's Circle status rather than Five Star status and will need to register for that upgrade.

If I don't qualify for Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite status or Ambassador Elite status, do I lose my elevated Hertz status?

You must qualify for Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status each year to keep Five Star or President's Circle status.


Registration

Why is my name not being accepted on the registration site?

Please make sure your name is entered the same way it appears on your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account. This is to validate your identity.

My Hertz Gold Plus Rewards member number is not eight digits. What do I do?

If your member number is fewer than eight digits, please add leading zeroes to your current number so it has eight digits.

Do I need to add leading zeroes to my Marriott Bonvoy member number?

Marriott Bonvoy member numbers must be between two and nine characters. There are no leading zeroes on Marriott Bonvoy member numbers that are fewer than nine digits.

I just joined Hertz Gold Plus Rewards. Why can't I register on the site for status match?

Please allow up to 48 hours after successfully enrolling in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards to register for the status match.
